What Makes Fountain Hills Different?

Fountain Hills sits between the McDowell Mountains and the Sonoran Desert, home to the 560 foot fountain that gives the town its name (Source: DarkSky International, 2025). The Town was founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1989, and it has grown into a close knit community of about 23,800 residents with a median age of 61.5 (Source: U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts, 2024). Many buyers come for the mountain views, the golf communities, and the quiet, walkable town center, then stay for the neighbors.
